This page explains the Privacy Policy that governs westmorlandfells.com domain and website (with no Cookies aboard) henceforth referred to as ‘this website’ or ‘this site’. Please note that all material on this site is copyright protected and any use of this site is only licensed for your personal use for the purpose that I intend: informing the public about and promoting interest in Westmorland Fells area. I take privacy issues seriously and this section details what kind of information I may collect from you and how I may share it. I will not share details you give me with third parties under normal circumstances accept for the purpose you intended, and also to legal authorities if I am required to do so by law and in the unlikely case of a dispute or legal defense. In alignment with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which took effect on May 25th, 2018 I must inform you about your data protection rights. The GDPR is a working document that will be updated over time and we’re all obliged to keep our online services legal. The legal basis for using your contact information that you may provide to me is that it is used solely to communicate with you in regard to our potential and actual business arrangements. Some of my media contains historical images recorded at public events / in public spaces. If your likeness appears in a photograph or video on any of my pages and you would like it obscured, then please contact me about it. Quite simply I ask that you do not break English Law nor Louisiana Law with regard to your use of this website. If you do harm, you may be prosecuted. Fair enough. There aren’t any interactive areas on this website, just links to my business website with my phone number and sales email address. These I offer in good faith for use in my website design, management and support activities. They are not given for any other purpose.
